We're just coming up to halfway through the term and everyone has settled back into the studio swimmingly. Show preparations are going smoothly and it is looking highly likely that we'll be putting on two final performances in July, rather than just one. We've started testing sample costumes and the children are really starting to get into character. We're also still welcoming new students to our community, as it's never too late to start performing arts!

Show rehearsals are now well underway and we're pleased to have such a committed cast aged just 4-14 years. Some of the routines are already finished, but lots of polishing still to do. The first sample costumes and our 'Narnia' wardrobe have arrived too. Busy, busy, busy, but looking very exciting so far! We're all settled back into the timetable after an Easter break and this term is "showtime." Instructors are producing our first ever theatrical show involving students of all ages and abilities. As we work towards the final performance, our studio principal is keeping a video blog to capture what's happening behind the scenes with only 10 weeks of rehearsals! |
